Join us for the 2nd annual Glazier Expo!

The AGMCA is excited to welcome its member glazing contractors and all industry partners to their second annual Glazier Expo which will take place on Wednesday, October 14, at the Toronto Glazier training centre, located at 130 Toro Road. Held in partnership with the Finishing Trades Institute, and the IUPAT, the event will welcome glazing contractors, general contractors, architects, government officials and skilled trades workers for a full day of networking, education, and demonstrations.

This event reflects an ongoing commitment to innovation, education, and certification – key pillars in preparing AGMCA apprentices to strengthen and advance the skilled trades workforce.

There will be several demonstrations during the day, including a pre-glazed curtainwall installation under job site conditions on the newly completed exterior steel structure.

Guests will have the opportunity to:
• Tour the Toronto Area Glazier Training Centre;
• Learn about glazier training programs.
• Witness live glazing demonstrations.
• Explore exhibits from select vendors, each offering industry swag and product insight, including: CS2/Dow, Alumicor ,Yarl Metal, Grey Goat Hardware, Glassopolis, Milwaukee, Assa Abloy, Flynn Canada, Bass Installations, Hilti Canada.

Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided by the AGMCA, in partnership with the FTI and the IUPAT.

As the only Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development-authorized training delivery agent for the in-school portion of the glazier apprenticeship program, FTI Ontario continues to lead in advancing training standards for the architectural glass and metal industry. Recent investments in equipment and training capacity at the Toronto, Ancaster, and Ottawa locations reflect a strong commitment to developing the next generation of skilled glaziers.
