AGMCA member companies have a long-standing track record of performance in the glazing field and have been recognized as key contributors to the architecturally outstanding skylines seen in our major cities across the province. Starting post war, but especially since the 1970’s our members recognized the burgeoning demand amongst architects and owners for glass facades and building envelopes, and in turn invested heavily in manufacturing space, equipment, technology and training to produce some of the highest quality curtainwall facades in the world. We have seen the natural evolution and advancement of curtainwall designs and applications, and in fact have played a large role in that advancement, from stick design, through to unitized, to pre-glazed, and following through most recently with large format curtainwall applications. Storefronts, spiderwalls, and automatic entry systems continue to be a specialty of our members.
